kitchen update

two things tuesday

i got these mint oreos. sounded like a good idea. and they're good, really. but something about the mint: it starts out just being a hint, then somehow becomes strangely too much. or maybe i'm just eating too many. they're fricking oreos, after all.

i've found this free software called konfabulator. basically, it allows you to put all these "widgets" on your desktop that do things for you. like tell you the weather, show you the surf, show you how much of your battery you have left, or even dance for you. it's cool and free. try it out, maybe.

ok everybody.

things are CRAZY. or maybe I'M just going crazy. here's what's up for today:

i want a new washer/dryer. here's the one i have now. standard, kind of old, lame as hell.

here's the one i want. it's ONE thing that washes AND dries! holy crap! and they can be pretty reasonably priced. why would someone not get one of these?
and since my building is kind of lame and doesn't have an exhaust vent for the dryer, this would be perfect. it has an INTERNAL CONDENSER. brilliant. all this new space! and my clothes would probably get cleaner. ridiculous.

ok. next. so remember the story about my putting my brand spanking new cell phone on the roof of my car and then driving off onto the freeway where the phone jumped off the roof and got destroyed, then i went back and picked up as many of the broken pieces as i could? yeah, i was kind of upset about it and didn't really feel like blogging about it.

ANYWAY, i want to ebay it. you're asking: "who would but a broken cell phone?" golden palace casino. that's who. check this ridiculousness out.

the new pope's old car? sure. they'll buy it. a virgin mary grilled cheeze sandwich? sure. britney spears' pregnancy test? sure.
chairmanlau's broken phone? why not?

i'm drafting the ebay description now. i'm hoping to include a diagram and maybe a pic of the car and freeway. and a pic of the phone, of course.

another sunday at work

so it's sunday and i'm working. yay!

i've had a pretty good weekend, though. yesterday was a fun and free day of basketball, hot tub, and curry house. and halo 2. and sleep. and ice cream.

have i told you about my ice cream? it's AMAZING. it's called blue bunny exquisite mint. i'm already a fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream, and this is a new twist on the old favorite. there's swirls of chocolate fudge, and chocolate chips that have delightful mint centers! check out the pictures! amazing! it's not helping me get a washboard stomach, but really, what's more important? doind laundry on my abdominal muscles or happiness? i mean, come one. i already have a washing machine.
